We've built a special cottage, for our young guests! Bunjaree's Kid's Cottage is a super-sized cubby house with its own verandah, dress up clothes, toys, games etc. It's located close to Waratah Cottage and within easy access of Banksia Cottage. At Bunjaree we care for kids and want them to have a special time.

Show your kids a sustainable future at Bunjaree. For many children – and adults – Bunjaree is their first experience of not being unthinkingly ‘connected’ to the industrial world. Instead they can have the joy of a close and personal connection to the bush and the beauty around them.

Bunjaree provides the opportunity for kids to see that we can live on solar power, to understand the strength of the natural environment in supporting humans and other species.

There’s rosellas to feed (bird seed provided), a variety of other birds to spot, wallabies to watch out for, frogs and tadpoles in the dam. The Bunjaree bush provides access for kids – and adults – to discover rare plants and to observe all sorts of habitats – from the gentle movement of insects in fallen branches to the architectural prowess of ‘termite’ mounds.

Short walks are available from your doorstep – great when you have small children. Longer, more taxing ones, can also be taken straight from Bunjaree. Really BIG ones require a short drive to reach.

Each cottage has board games, nearby there’s lots of Blue Mountains attractions – see the information in the Bunjaree book of the Blue Mountains when you arrive.
