Kids

For our younger guests we have built a magnificent playhouse — Bunjaree’s Kids’ Cottage. The cottage has its own verandah, is filled with toys and activities, and has plenty of room for children from two or three families to thoroughly enjoy themselves in. We have had more than one child want to move in permanently.

The kids’ cottage is nearest to Waratah Cottage. Waratah guests have exclusive use until 10am, but all our younger guests are very welcome to use the cottage at other times.

There is an outdoor setting next to the kids’ cottage — for adults to sit and enjoy the bush or read the paper.

(Parents are responsible for tidying up the Kids’ Cottage).

Families and small groups

We have many families stay in Waratah or Banksia Cottages. The two cottages are private, but it is easy to wander from one to the other if a family or small group needs more space than is available in one cottage.

We leave plenty of cutlery and crockery so that a family or group can make a meal, and serve it, with ease. There are spare chairs, too.

There are barbeques, outdoor eating areas, picnic sets in the cottages, so that families or small groups can meet together.

(Families or small groups are asked to return all equipment to original cottage at end of their stay.)

People with disabilities/older people

Tea Tree Cottage has all on one level and has disabled access in the bathroom (off the bedroom).

Banksia and Waratah cottages have easy downstairs access for those with some mobility impairment or with vision impairment. There is a bedroom and bathroom downstairs. Access to the upper bedroom is via a staircase, however.

We have a few mobility aids if needed, which can be rented for a small fee. These include a walking frame, a small wheelchair, and a toilet frame.
